PHP and IMAP RPM Updates

Hey Guys,

Ok, having dealt with a bunch of segfaults caused by trying to login to Horde I tried compiling the Redhat Enterprise RPMS for RH7.3 and RH9. Without a hitch they compiled perfectly and I could consequently upgrade to imap-2002.

After recompiling PHP using the new imap libraries there was no more seg faults! 🙂 SO… I’ve dumped Redhat 7.3 and Redhat 9 versions of the new imap RPMs and the revised PHP RPM into the Downloads directory. Check it out. 🙂

PHP with XSLT for Redhat 7.3

Heya All,

Ok, well Atomic Rocket Turtle’s Redhat 7.3 RPMs don’t support XSLT by default. So I modified his existing Redhat 7.3 RPM and recompiled. I also had to compile the js-* and sablotron-* RPMs for the RH7.3 glibc.

All hail JAVA!

Woohoo! Java crashed on my domain registrar. That’s just funny, especially cause it printed out the full Exception. How about a catch statement guys?! 🙂

First week at Uni

Heya again,

Yeah well I started my first week at Uni for 3rd year. I sure do have very interesting (but nonetheless hard) subjects:

COMP3300 Operating Systems
COMP3401 Compilers & Interpreters
COMP3500 The Software Process
COMS4200 Computer Networks II

I actually enjoyed my first week of lectures (which is rather new) particularly because I’m at least (partial) friends with my COMS4200 lecturer and the Compilers & Interpreters dude seems pretty cool. The Operating Systems lecture tries (perhaps in vain) to crack jokes although he doesn’t often succeed! At least he’s trying! 🙂

I have a $500 text bill. Lemme type that again, “I HAVE A $500 TEXT BILL”. Geez… I reckon the government should let us put that on HECS or something cause I have a $500 TEXT BILL! 🙂 Oh well, that’s ok, I can pay for it… just…

Now I’m gonna go work on setting up a VPN and CVS system so that people can synchronize projects with me. That will be very l33t indeed. 🙂
